Located near exit 7 of Hapjeong Station, ‘Kyodaiya,’ a Michelin Guide Seoul 2024-selected udon restaurant, offers udon sets and à la carte menu items.
Set menus range from 14,000 KRW to 16,000 KRW and include udon, inari sushi, assorted tempura, and more.
While the udon boasts a chewy texture, some reviews suggest the price-to-taste ratio may not be exceptional.
I seem to have written a lot of noodle reviews lately. In my last post, it was ramen, but...
This time, it's udon! And once again, it's a restaurant selected for the Michelin Guide Seoul 2024. In a previous post, I wrote abouta Michelin-recommended restaurant in Hapjeong-dong. If you're curious about 'Bib Gourmand', you can check out that post.
The udon was chewy and delicious, but I didn't feel much difference from regular udon, which makes me think I don't really know much about udon ^^;; I don't usually eat udon that often, either. Still, there must be a reason why it was selected for 'Bib Gourmand'. I wondered if the 5,000 won price difference between the set meal and the a la carte was worth it. But I do recommend it to udon lovers. They say it's hand-pulled udon, so maybe the chewiness is different?!
