I spent a lot of time thinking about what to eat today. Since it's a day when I can eat alone, I can eat whatever I want because I'm not with someone who has picky taste buds. But even when I go out to eat with someone, we don't exchange many words... I'm starting to wonder if there's really a need to go together haha.
Anyway, the restaurant I chose today is "Nan". At first, I was going to go to a popular udon restaurant that was also selected for the Michelin Guide 'Bib Gourmand', but I'll save that for another time.
Restaurant 'NAN'
You can enter through the semi-basement of the building shown above, so there's a downward entrance on the right.

There are 6 bar counter seats where you can sit one person each. There are also 3 two-seater tables and 3 four-seater tables. However, it seemed possible to separate the four-seater tables further. It seemed like they separate them and seat people depending on the situation.
So, there are a total of 24 seats: 6 (for individuals) + 2 x 3 (two-seater tables) + 4 x 3 (four-seater tables).
"Today's Nan" is a home-style Korean-style set meal where the owner serves whatever dishes they want to offer that day. I heard that the food changes every time. If your company is nearby and you don't want to think about what to eat, you could come here often. (Of course, there are many other restaurants in this area, so there are plenty of places to choose from.)

So today, I got curry, doenjang jjigae (fermented soybean soup), stir-fried perilla leaves, cucumber salad, mushroom jeon (pancake), and baechu kimchi (napa cabbage kimchi).
Japanese curry, Indian curry, and Korean curry all have different flavors. As soon as I tasted it, I got a sense of Korean-style Ottogi curry. It wasn't the mild flavor of Ottogi curry, but rather a spicier version. If you're curious about Korean home-style cooking, it's worth visiting and trying. For me, it was just ordinary food.
I heard that this place is actually famous for its Fermented Radish Kimbap. I plan to try that next time I visit.
