If you're looking for a delicious meal near Hapjeong Station, I'd like to recommend "Dabukuk", which I recently visited! As a specialist in hangover soup, the broth was so deep and clean that I was very satisfied. For your information, it was also there in 2015. My company used to be nearby, and I often went there. I'm not sure if it's older than that, but seeing it operating in the same spot for nearly 10 years makes it a restaurant you can trust.

Dabukuk is about 103m from exit 5 of Hapjeong Station, making it easily accessible. 9-6, Yanghwaro6-gil, Mapo-gu It's located in a mixed-use residential building in Seo-gyo-dong, and the exterior gives off a heartwarming atmosphere. The interior of the restaurant is clean and warm, making it perfect for solo diners or for visiting with family and friends.
Business hours are from 9 am to 8 pm. Late dinners might be a bit difficult, so I recommend visiting early.

The menu I tried this time was pollack soup. For 10,000 won, I got rice, soup, and various side dishes. The broth had a deep and mild flavor that soothed my stomach. It seemed like a popular choice for those looking for a hangover cure. It wasn't too salty; just right.
Another menu, the 11,000 won yellow corvina stew, seemed to be the most popular. The set was substantial; it included rice, soup, and yellow corvina stew. (In other words, a bit of pollack soup is also included). There were also other menu items like pollack and chive pancakes (15,000 won), which seemed perfect as an alcoholic beverage side dish.

The side dishes included radish kimchi, kimchi, and various seasoned greens, all of which were clean and delicious. In particular, they kindly refilled the side dishes, so I could eat comfortably. The owner was also friendly, so even though it was my first visit, I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably.
I usually prefer light meals like pollack soup, and Dabukuk was really satisfying, not only for its taste but also for its value. I visited outside of lunchtime, so there was no waiting, which was great. Especially after eating the yellow corvina stew, I thought I should definitely try the pollack soup or chive pancakes next time. It's a restaurant I want to recommend to my friends.
Waiting: If you avoid lunchtime (12 pm~1 pm), you can have a meal comfortably without waiting.
Recommended Menu: If it's your first visit, be sure to try the pollack soup!
Parking Nearby: There isn't much parking space nearby, so I recommend using public transportation. (There are maybe 3 or 4 parking spots... if there are already cars there, it's tricky)
I strongly recommend Dabukuk to those who want to enjoy a warm and delicious meal near Hapjeong Station.
